I find that I prefer the brainstorming on a notebook page, followed by the outline that I add to and summarize down to a more perfected outline; generally, a third draft, at the least. With fiction, I might even do the posterboard, but for non-fiction, I haven’t needed to. And yet, that may change.
Then it’s just an easy method to follow, step by step, creating my book’s content from this outline.
